Cory Champion presents The Matinées, Love Love and Borrowed cs (live band) for the Wellington Jazz festival 2017.

Hey everyone, I'm stoked to be taking over Caroline for one whole night during the jazz festival. 

I was really happy with how the first two Love Love shows went last year and it's great to be able to play again. Same band of mofos as before--- Daniel Hayles - rhodes, ESQ-1, Johnny Lawrence - bass, subphatty, James Paul - guitar, Mike Isaacs - bass clarinet, Riki Gooch - drums/percussion, and myself on drums. We will also be joined by a special guest JY Lee (Akl) who's a saxophone deeeeemon.

Lastly, I'm presenting an exclusive WJF Borrowed cs live band performance. There will be a couple jams from previous releases but mostly unreleased things. I'll be playing drums and synths and joined by some of the gang from Love Love. As for the dancers, well, it may be a tad more abstract than my usual sets, but hopefully will move you in other ways.
